Course Scope
19K ANCOC is 24 days in duration broken down into 2 separate phases. These phases are conducted back to back with Phase I being 13 days and Phase II 14 days, the classes overlap by 3 days in the middle to accommodate Inprocessing and out processing Soldiers attending either Phase 2 or Phase 3 independently if desired. The course is designed to provide you with NCOES training for duties at skill level 40 (SFC). The classroom components of this instruction are computer-based (laptop provided); students must possess a basic knowledge of computer operation, ability to work with MS Office software such as: WORD, EXCEL, and Acrobat Reader (PDF) documents.

Course Prerequisites
Active or Reserve Component enlisted Soldiers in MOS 19E or 19K with the recommendation from the unit commander. Personnel selected for attendance will be a SSG, SFC or PSG. Students must have successfully completed the Primary Leadership Development Course and the Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course in their MOS.

For NCOES courses Soldiers that fail to meet Body Fat composition of AR 600-9 or APFT Standards of FM 21-20 will be considered an Academic Course Graduate, but item 11.C. of the DA 1059 will be marked Marginally Achieved Course Standards and appropriate item 14 comment will be annotated Failed to meet body fat compositions or Failed to meet APFT standards.

 

NCOES Computer information
The CAC Cryptographic Login (CLL) program is part of Department of Defense (DOD) compliance with AR 25-1, Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 and the Army CIO/G-6.

In order to use course computers issued by the 1/204th Regional Training Institute (RTI) Armor (AR) all students are required to take the Ft Gordon Computer Security Test, and obtain a current Common Access Card (CAC) and know your PIN number. It is absolutely imperative that you log into http://ia.gordon.army.mil/ia_courses.htm register and take the Computer User Security Training (IA Awareness Training). When registering for the exam, enter NGIDIDATBTestResults@id.ngb.army.mil for the Alternate e-mail address for the score report. This will send a backup copy of the test results to the 1-204th RTI(AR) You must take this exam and print your certificate.

Successfully completing the exam and furnishing your certificate will be required when you in-process. It is also required that you know your Personnel Identification Number of your CAC card.
